ABOUT US

We, Carol and Garry O’Dell, (your hosts) have had extensive travels throughout Australia
and have stayed in many bed and breakfast establishments since 1995. During that
time, we decided to build and run our own Bed & Breakfast.  We preferred a rural property
as it also satisfied our personal requirements.



In 2003 we purchased our property of 16 acres in Gills Lane to construct our own home with
an adult’s only luxury bed and breakfast accommodation wing of two bedrooms and a
sitting room. Our award winning building was completed in mid 2009 and we opened our
bed and breakfast for guests in early 2010.

Brunkerville has easy access to Lake Macquarie, Newcastle and the Hunter Valley
Vineyards. Providing relaxing short breaks on our secluded, private, rural property is our
aim for guests.
